Guildford Mavericks Baseball Club Home Field: Broadwater School, Summers Road, Godalming Directions: Broadwater School is best accessed from the A3. Take the B3000 exit, which is the first one after the A31 if travelling south. The long slip road comes to a roundabout, from which you must take the first exit, heading towards Compton and Guildford, NOT Puttenham. If coming from the South, then you cross over the A3 at the top of the slip road roundabout, and then take the first exit on the roundabout on the other side, down towards Compton/Guildford. You will have to turn right at the roundabout at the end of this. You will now be on the B3000 (New Pond Rd) heading east towards Guildford. Carry on this road for 2.5 miles, through Compton and past the Loseley House turn. The turn into Summers Road is directly after you go over the small hump back bridge, on the right. Be careful as this is a very sharp hairpin turn. If you go too far, you come to a roundabout in about 1/4 mile which will allow you to turn round and come back again. Follow Summers Road for about 600 yds. The are two turns into the school, which will be on your left. The first is the exit, the second is the entrance. Turn into the entrance and drive straight ahead. The baseball diamond is to your left, and you can either park in the spaces next to the field, or carry on round the side of the building and park in the tennis courts, which are used for parking. Next to the tennis courts, is the Broadwater Sports Centre, which has changing, showering and toilet facilties. On leaving, we suggest you turn right out of Summers Road, and go to the roundabout, and turn round, as a left hand turn straight onto the bridge, can be quite awkward.
